Florida High School Volleyball - Eastside over Trenton
September 17, 2024: Gainesville, FL 32641 The Eastside Rams volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Trenton Tigers to 0 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rams now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Keystone Heights for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. Eastside will play a Indians team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Union County (Lake Butler, FL). The Indians record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Trenton drops to 8-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Fort White (Fort White, FL) to play the Indians in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 3-5. Fort White won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Bronson (Bronson, FL)
Match Summary
Although both teams seemed a bit sluggish for that match, we always enjoy playing Trenton. It was a good game. I was proud of my girls for stepping up and playing hard inspite of the fact that we were missing our excellent & experienced libero Kieara Hall as well as one of our middle hitters and blockers - Kaylee Ovia. Clara Brooks stepped into the libero shoes and did an awesome job! She knows how to read and hustle. Joanna played smart as our all around setter - but still managed to throw in a couple great kills and blocks! What a fantastic WIN full of teamwork!m m
