September 17, 2024: Torrance, CA 90503 The South Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host West Warriors to 1 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to South Pasadena for a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. South will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to San Marino (San Marino, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, West drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to play the Panthers in a Pioneer outing on Thursday, September 19. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 8-2. Peninsula won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Sonora (La Habra, CA)
