September 17, 2025: Cameron, NC 28326 The Harnett Central Trojans soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Union Pines Vikings to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Wednesday.
The Trojans now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host West Johnston for a Carolina Pines 6A bout on Monday, September 22. Harnett Central will face a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 league win over Triton (Erwin, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-9.
The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers come into the Carolina Pines 6A game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Southern Lee by Northwood (Pittsboro, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
