The Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) softball nipped the host Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Wolves now sport a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a 6A Region 8 outing on Thursday, September 18. Buford will encounter a Bears team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Bears record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Wesleyan moves to 16-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a 1A D-I Region 5 test on Monday, September 22. The War Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-13. Landmark Christian lost 21-1 in their recent league test against St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA)
