Georgia High School Softball - Buford bounces Lassiter
August 23, 2025: Marietta, GA 30066 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) and the host Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA), observed Buford's softball team get by Lassiter by a tally of 7-1.
The Wolves (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Eagles enter the 6A Region 8 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Collins Hill nudged Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA), 12-0, in a league contest.
The Trojans now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Creekview for a 5A Region 6 contest on Monday, August 25. Lassiter will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-0.
