The Bishop Ireton Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sidwell Friends Quakers to 1 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic outing, on Thursday, September 18. Bishop Ireton will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD).

With the loss, Sidwell Friends drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Quakers host Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC) to play the Cubs in a ISL game on Tuesday, September 23.
