Kentucky High School Volleyball - East Jessamine bounced by West Jessamine
September 17, 2025: Nicholasville, KY 40356 West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, West Jessamine improves its record to 15-4 on the season. The Colts travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 9-13. Paul Laurence Dunbar lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY)
The Jaguars now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Garrard County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. East Jessamine will meet a Golden Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 3-15.
