The Centennial Eagles football team (Ellicott City, MD), was knocked off 28-18 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD)

The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Long Reach (Columbia, MD). The Lightning come into the Howard County challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Long Reach was knocked off by Howard (Ellicott City, MD), 24-0, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atholton for a Howard County challenge on Saturday, September 23. Centennial will meet a Raiders team coming off a 16-14 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
