With the win, Greene Central moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Rams host Washington (Washington, NC) to confront the Pam Pack in a Eastern Plains 2A bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Pam Pack enter the bout with a record of 4-3. Washington won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC)
In their next game, the Chargers confront the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) in a Eastern Plains 2A test, on Wednesday, September 20. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 9-1 record after their 4-1 league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC).
