California High School Volleyball - University City tips Point Loma

University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Centurions battle the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 22. University City will attempt to advance on its 18-5 season record. The Lancers come into the match with a 10-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA).

With the loss, Point Loma drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to La Jolla (La Jolla, CA) to battle the Vikings in a City - Western match on Wednesday, September 20.
