In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Central Falcons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Friendly Patriots.

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The Clippers enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Oxon Hill got by Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Monday, September 23. Friendly will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
