Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), 2-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Boardman upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH) to meet the Falcons in a challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.

Next, the Tigers meet the Louisville Leopards (Louisville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Howland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
