September 18, 2025: Frederick, MD 21701 Fans at Thursday's league match between the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) and the host Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD), witnessed Linganore's soccer team triumph over Frederick by a final score of 6-1.
With the triumph, Linganore moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Middletown (Middletown, MD) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. The Knights come into the match with a record of 2-3. Middletown won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD)
The Cadets now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Urbana for a non-league match on Monday, September 22. Frederick will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
