Maryland High School Soccer - Walkersville nudged by Linganore
September 11, 2025: Walkersville, MD 21793 The Linganore Lancers held off the host Walkersville Lions soccer team by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lancers now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Frederick for a Class 3A West I bout on Thursday, September 18. Linganore will play a Cadets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Walkersville moves to 0-3 on the year. The Lions host Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Francis Scott Key won 5-3 in their recent league bout against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD)
