Georgia High School Softball - Echols County bested by Charlton County
September 18, 2025: Statenville, GA 31648 The Charlton County Indians triumphed over the host Echols County Wildcats softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Indians now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brantley County for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Charlton County will confront a Herons team coming off a 3-2 league win over Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA). The Herons record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Echols County moves to 4-10 on the season. The Wildcats host Valwood (Valdosta, GA) to meet the Valiants in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Valiants enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Valwood lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA)
