September 18, 2025: Locust Grove, OK 74352 Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK), 8-7 in a league game.
With the triumph, Sequoyah improves its record to 12-15 on the year. The Eagles travel to Catoosa (Catoosa, OK) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, September 18. The Indians enter the game with a record of 7-17. Catoosa won 16-3 in their recent non-league game against Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK)
The Pirates now hold a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Chouteau-Mazie for a non-league game on Thursday, September 18. Locust Grove will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-10.
