Connecticut High School Volleyball - Cheney Tech bounced by Academy of International Studies
September 18, 2025: Manchester, CT 06040 Academy of International Studies Dragons (Bloomfield, CT) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cheney Tech Chargers (Manchester, CT), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Academy of International Studies improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to University (Hartford, CT) to face the Hawks in a Capital Region challenge on Friday, September 19. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Chargers meet the Goodwin RVT Gladiators (New Britain, CT) in a Connecticut Technical challenge, on Monday, September 22. Cheney Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT).
