Connecticut High School Volleyball - Cheney Tech overwhelmed by Academy of Aerospace and Engineering

September 8, 2025: Windsor, CT 06106

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cheney Tech Chargers (Manchester, CT), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT) to meet the Tigers in a Capital Region challenge on Friday, September 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next, the Chargers meet the Wright Tech Warriors (Stamford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Cheney Tech will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT).
