Illinois High School Volleyball - Woodlands Academy can't get by Beacon Academy
September 18, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 The Beacon Academy Trailblazers edged the host Woodlands Academy Wildcats volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Trailblazers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roycemore for a Lake Shore Athletic outing on Friday, September 19. Beacon Academy will play a Griffins team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wolcott College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Woodlands Academy drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL) to play the Eagles in a Independent outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 2-10. Willows Academy lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL)
