Michigan High School Volleyball - Calumet bounced by Hancock
September 18, 2025: Hancock, MI 49930 Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Hancock improves its record to 13-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to West Iron County (Iron River, MI) to face the Wykons in a Western Peninsula test on Monday, September 22. The Wykons go into the test with a record of 3-6. West Iron County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Westwood (Ishpeming, MI)
The Copper Kings now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ishpeming for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Calumet will meet a Hematites team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Munising (Munising, MI). The Hematites record now stands at 11-1.
