Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Delano Tigers (Delano, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Generals (23-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Delano, CA). The Thunderbirds come into the South Sequoia challenge with a 3-9 record.

Next, the Tigers play the Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA) in a South Sequoia challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Delano will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA).
