Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) and the visiting Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL), observed Fort Payne's volleyball team top Southside by a tally of 3-1.

The Wildcats (25-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Gaylesville was beaten by Woodland (Woodland, AL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
