Vienna Eagles (Vienna, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Johnston City Indians (Johnston City, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Vienna upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Herrin (Herrin, IL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Herrin lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL)

Next, the Indians meet the Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Johnston City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL).
