In Thursday's non-league match, the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS), by a margin of 3-0.

The Tigers now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Aloysius for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. McLaurin will clash with a Flashes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Flashes record now stands at 0-8.
