In Thursday's league test, the visiting Pontotoc Warriors volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the West Point Green Wave.

With the win, Pontotoc advances its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Warriors host Caledonia (Caledonia, MS) to play the Cavaliers in a Class 5A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 17-10. Caledonia won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)

The Green Wave (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Columbus lost by New Hope (Columbus, MS), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
