September 18, 2025: Kansas City, KS 66101 Sumner Academy Sabres (Kansas City, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wyandotte Bulldogs (Kansas City, KS), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Sumner Academy improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Sabres travel to Olathe North (Olathe, KS) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 6-5. Olathe North won 3-0 in their recent league test against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS)
The Bulldogs now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a Meadowlark challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Wyandotte will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 0-0 league Schlagle (Kansas City, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
