The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) and the visiting Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA), saw Grafton's volleyball squad nip Smithfield by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Grafton upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Clippers travel to Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Rams in a bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Lafayette lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against York (Yorktown, VA)
