Maine High School Soccer - Shead nudges Woodland
September 19, 2022: Eastport, ME 04631 Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) in a Class D - North challenge, on Wednesday, September 21. Shead will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME).
The Dragons now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calais for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Woodland will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 14-2 league loss to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-5.
