In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Union Local Jets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Martins Ferry Purple Riders.

The Jets (14-0) will now prepare for their battle against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH). The Shamrocks come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Barnesville went down by Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
