Oklahoma High School Softball - Wellston holds off Agra
September 19, 2023: Wellston, OK 74881 Wellston Tigers (Wellston, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Agra Bearcats (Agra, OK), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas-Fay-Custer for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Wellston will face a Terriers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Sayre (Sayre, OK). The Terriers record now stands at 3-15.
With the loss, Agra falls to 4-20 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Carney (Carney, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-13. Carney lost 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellston (Wellston, OK)
