Texas High School Volleyball - Veterans Memorial overwhelmed by Canyon

September 19, 2023: New Braunfels, TX 78130

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Canyon Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Veterans Memorial Patriots.

The Cougars (28-9) will now prepare for their battle against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 21-12 record. In their last battle, Smithson Valley defeated Tivy (Kerrville, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 battle, on Friday, September 22. Veterans Memorial will attempt to move on its 9-20 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 7-22 record after their 3-0 league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
