Alabama High School Volleyball - Hokes Bluff edged by Etowah
September 19, 2023: Attalla, AL 35954 The Etowah Blue Devils held off the visiting Hokes Bluff Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashville for a 4A Area 11 test on Thursday, September 21. Etowah will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Corner (Warrior, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-13.
The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 3A Area 11 test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Glencoe held off St. Clair County (Odenville, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
