Texas High School Volleyball - Walnut Grove can't hold off Independence

The Walnut Grove Wildcats volleyball team (Prosper, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX)

The Knights (13-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks come into the 5A Region II District 10 challenge with a 22-7 record. In their last challenge, Liberty nudged Centennial (Frisco, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, September 22. Walnut Grove will attempt to move on its 12-15 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 11-16 record after their 3-2 league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX).
