Kentucky High School Football - Highlands holds off Ryle
September 19, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 The Highlands Bluebirds football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Ryle Raiders to 13 in the Bluebirds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bluebirds now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Simon Kenton for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Highlands will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Ryle drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Boone County (Florence, KY) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 0-0.
