September 19, 2024: Oakboro, NC 28129 The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Colts now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Stanly for a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. West Stanly will clash with a Comets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Comets record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Gray Stone Day drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Mount Pleasant lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
