Colorado High School Soccer - Gunnison toppled by Salida
September 19, 2024: Salida, CO 81201 Salida Spartans (Salida, CO) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Salida advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Canon City (Canon City, CO) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Cowboys now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coal Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Gunnison will clash with a Titans team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Delta (Delta, CO). The Titans record now stands at 3-3.
