Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Tunkhannock nudged by Wyoming Area
September 19, 2024: Exeter, PA 18643 Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA), 4-3 in a league test.
With the triumph, Wyoming Area moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA) to clash with the Hawkeyes in a Wyoming Valley 3 test on Friday, September 20. The Hawkeyes come into the test with a record of 6-5. Hanover Area lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA)
The Tigers now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to MMI Preparatory School for a Wyoming Valley 3 test on Saturday, September 21. Tunkhannock will clash with a team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The record now stands at 1-7.
