September 19, 2024: Perry, GA 31069 The Pinewood Christian Patriots triumphed over the host Westfield School Hornets softball squad by a count of 13-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots meet the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Pinewood Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 12-3 league win over Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA).
The Hornets (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Knights enter the GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 5 challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Christian edged Brookstone (Columbus, GA), 15-2, in a league challenge.
