Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) and the host Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA), observed Ripon's volleyball team top Ripon Christian by a count of 3-0.

The Indians (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats enter the Trans Valley League contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Sonora notched a victory over Hughson (Hughson, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a Trans Valley League contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Ripon Christian will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sierra (Manteca, CA).
