Ohio High School Football - Anderson beat Kings
September 19, 2025: Kings Mill, OH 45034 The Anderson Raptors (Cincinnati, OH) football were winner over the host Kings Knights (Kings Mill, OH), 49-24 in Friday's league outing.
The Raptors now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Milford for a Eastern Cincinnati game on Friday, September 26. Anderson will face a Eagles team coming off a 35-21 league loss to West Clermont (Cincinnati, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Lebanon (Lebanon, OH). The Warriors enter the Eastern Cincinnati game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Lebanon ran past Little Miami (Morrow, OH), 49-32, in a league game.
First Quarter
Kings got on the board first with a 26-yard touchdown pass from Grant Nurre to Jaxon Frisk less than three minutes into the game. Anderson responded with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Owen Scalf to Tysin Weaver less than two minutes later to tie the game at 7.
Second Quarter
Noah Magrino kicked a 23-yard field goal early in the second quarter to give the Knights a 10-7 advantage. Tysin Weaver caught back-to-back long touchdowns, one from 43 and one from 60 to give the Raptors a 21-10 lead. Anderson would strike again with a Tegan Jallick 28-yard touchdown catch with 38 seconds remaining in the half to give the Raptors a comfortable 28-10 lead going into half.
Third Quarter
Jallick was not done, catching a 54-yard touchdown pass just 30 seconds into the second half to extend the lead to 35-10. Grant Nurre stopped the bleeding a few minutes later by rushing for a 9-yard touchdown, but Brayden Moore would catch a 43-yard touchdown pass just a few plays later to give Anderson a 42-17 lead at the end of the third quarter.
Fourth Quarter
Owen Scalf would find Tysin Weaver for a 65-yard touchdown with a little over three minutes into the fourth quarter to balloon the lead to 49-17.
