In Friday's league match, the visiting Irvington Blue Knights football squad scored a good 44-20 triumph over the Bayonne Bees.

The Blue Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Cougars come into the Super - Freedom White match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Columbia was beaten by Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 41-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bees meet the Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 25. Bayonne will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Ghosts come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 38-21 non-league loss to Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ).
