The Boerne-Champion Chargers football team (Boerne, TX), dropped 41-14 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX)

With the win, Smithson Valley advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Rangers host Pieper (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 bout on Friday, September 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Pieper won 48-13 in their recent league bout against Wagner (San Antonio, TX)

The Chargers now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seguin for a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 contest on Friday, September 26. Boerne-Champion will battle a Matadors squad coming off a 38-21 non-league win over Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 3-1.
