New Jersey High School Football - Summit tops Carteret
September 19, 2025: Carteret, NJ 07008 The Summit Hilltoppers football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Carteret Ramblers to 0 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Friday.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cranford for a Big Central - United Gold test on Friday, September 26. Summit will face a Cougars team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
The Ramblers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Raiders go into the Big Central - United Gold challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Scotch Plains-Fanwood lost by Hillside (Hillside, NJ), 17-12, in a league challenge.
