September 19, 2025: Harrisonburg, VA 22801 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Rocktown Raptors (Harrisonburg, VA) and the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), witnessed Rocktown's football squad knock off Charlottesville by a tally of 42-20.
The Raptors (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers enter the Valley contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Broadway gained a win over Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 42-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Black Knights battle the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Thursday, September 25. Charlottesville will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 81-8 non-league loss to Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA).
