In Friday's league game, the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) football team edged the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), by a tally of 34-28.

In their next game, the Black Knights battle the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson game, on Friday, October 24.
