In Friday's league game, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) football team triumphed over the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), by a tally of 44-12.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson game, on Friday, October 17. Western Albemarle will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 55-14 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA).

With the defeat, Charlottesville drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Black knights host Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Jefferson outing on Friday, October 17.
