The Griffith Institute Griffins football team (Springville, NY), was crushed 44-0 in Friday's league bout with the host Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton Eagles (Mayville, NY)

With the win, Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama (Clymer, NY) to encounter the Wolfpack in a Section 6 C - South bout on Saturday, September 27. The Wolfpack enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama lost 21-14 in their recent league contest against Salamanca (Salamanca, NY)

Coming up next, the Griffins battle the Southwestern Trojans (Jamestown, NY) in a Section 6 C - South contest, on Friday, September 26.
