Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton Bearcats (Christopher, IL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL), 32-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Sesser-Valier/Waltonville (Sesser, IL) to confront the Red Devils in a Black Diamond match on Friday, September 26. The Red Devils come into the match with a record of 2-2. Sesser-Valier/Waltonville won 34-22 in their recent league match against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL)
