In Friday's non-league outing, the Yutan Chieftains (Yutan, NE) football squad trounced the host Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE), by a margin of 54-6.

The Chieftains now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bergan Catholic for a C2 District 2 outing on Friday, September 26. Yutan will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 47-6 non-league win over Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
