In Friday's non-league match, the host New Boston Lions football squad scored a good 35-14 victory over the Grace Community Cougars.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Lake Country Christian was topped by Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX), 47-0, in a non-league battle.
